The other fact matching up is that the 1850 census shows Annah living in KY but being born in VA as was Ann Maria.

On May 30 I got this email from Jim Davis:

I got on Rootsweb and found William Hancock born about 1765 in Virginia, died 1827 in Henderson Co, KY.  Oct 27, 1788 he married Susannah Grigsby (born about 1767) in Fauquier Co, VA.  It shows them having 4 children, one of which was Ann Maria born about 1800 in VA who married James C. Muncaster born about 1798.

The only thing I really have on Annah is the 1850 census for Henderson Co, KY which shows her living with her son John W.  He was born June 22, 1821 in Henderson Co, KY.  The date is consistent with what we have on Ann Maria Hancock and we know the Hancocks and James Copper were all in Henderson Co, KY, so it is likely that this Ann Maria Hancock is the same Annah, but I can’t tell for sure.

Thomas Hart, Sr. (1650-1701) obviously couldn't be the husband of Mary Page (1609-1635) who died 15 years before her "husband" was born.  Found there was a Mary Page (1609-1635) married to a Thomas Hart in England and their son's birth year fit.  So I am deleting Thomas Hart, Sr. and Mary Page from my database.

Capt John B Hart's parents were Benjamin Franklin Hart, Sr. and Anne Nancy Morgan.

Patience Lane's parents were Lt. Jesse Lane and Winifred Aycock. Jesse's parents were Joseph Lane, Jr. and Patience McKinne.  Joseph's parents were Joseph Lane, Sr. and Jilian and Patience's parents were Barnaby McKinnie and Mary Exum.

Winifred's parents were William Aycock and Rebecca Pace.  William's parents were William Aycock and Elizabeth Pope while Rebecca' parents were Richard Pace and Rebecca Poythress.

Agonized long and hard about some of the information Jim Davis sent me. It violated the criteria I set up to limit the size of the database I was working on.  Namely it extended far into the past along lines I did not follow, along spouses lines.  However, the data was so detailed and went back so far that I've decided to include it.

It goes back from the West Virginia Muncaster line.  John Muncaster (1821-1896) married Ann Hart.  Ann's father was Thomas Hart and his parents were Capt. John B Hart and Patience Lane. Ann's mother was Sarah (Sallie) Bugg and her parents were Samuel Bugg and Elizabeth Bilbo.

Found that Guyler Magruder was born Jan 29, 1925 in El Paso, TX and died Mar 13, 2012 in Palm Beach, FL.
