Cousin Jim Davis sent me info that John Muncaster married Elizabeth Copper, not Elizabeth Cooper. I had heard that before and actually my grandfather said that in one of his articles on my Muncasters in America website. But the info cousin Jim supplied linked back to Elizabeth's father, Cyrus Copper, and I was able to get some more verifiable information on him.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I now believe that John and Elizabeth married and spent time in Alexandria, Virginia before moving to Louisiana. The oldest, John Copper Muncaster, stopped on the way and settled in Henderson, Kentucky.
