My grandfather said James Copper Muncaster was a doctor, but I didn't have any confirmation until today. I found on the internet that the American Medical Recorder said he became a doctor from the University of Maryland in 1819. He was the father of the Kentucky branch of Muncasters.

The rest of James Copper Muncaster's family went on to Louisiana. His father, John, died in 1829. Christian A died in 1834, Eleanor Maria in 1830, Harriet Sophia in 1835 and Cyrus Copper in 1845. Mother, Elizabeth, was still alive and made the 1850 census along with Charles Wallace and Mary Elizabeth Muncaster. Elizabeth also showed in the 1850 Slave Schedule, owning about 10 slaves.
